During the 7-year Tribulation period, soon after the Rapture of ‘the church, the body of Christ’ and just before Jesus Christ returns to judge the world and save Israel’s believing remnant, Satan will use supernatural deception that the Bible calls “lying wonders” to deceive the masses. The Devil, by his deceptions, will deceive most of the world, including those of major religions including many ‘so-called Christians in name only.’ They will be ‘left behind’ after the Rapture of the ‘genuine believers’ of the church, which is “the body of Christ” who dwell “eternal in the heavens” (2Cor. 5:1b)  

Very soon after the Rapture of the members of the Gentile church called “the body of Christ” off of planet earth… to heaven, Satan will set up a ‘pseudo female forgery’ in place of the Lord’s Bride, Israel (Jer. 3:14, 30; cf. Isa. 54:4-8; Hos. 2:19-20, Rev. 19:7-8). This religious forgery is called “Mystery, Babylon the Great, The Mother of Harlots and Abominations of The Earth.” As we will see, this will be a Worldwide Religious System, as seen in Revelation 17 and 18, where the Bible describes this devilish imitation, identifying her, while she helps to establish the Antichrist’s reign.

⁴ And the woman was arrayed in Purple And Scarlet Colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication [idolatries]: ⁵  And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (Revelation 17:4-5 (KJV)

This ‘Whore of Babylon,’ has nothing to do with historical Babylon. The word “babel” from which the world ‘Babylon’ is derived, fittingly means “confusion.’ She is one of the key elements that Satan weaves into his clever web of deceit that is strategically designed to ensnare mankind in the terror of the deadly end times Worldwide Tyranny that is to come on earth.

As you will see, this Scarlet Harlot is a religion to be built upon an already well-known existing worldwide religion which has worldwide credibility and which today is already bent toward the destructive intents of ‘leftism’ that we see in the USA and the world.

² A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left. (Ecclesiastes 10:2 (KJV)

Soon after the ‘Rapture’ of “the Body of Christ” from planet earth to dwell eternally in heaven, Satan will no longer be bound at all by the limitation place upon him by the work of the Holy Spirit (2Thes 2:7). The ‘limiting work’ of the Holy Spirit in the believing members of “the body of Christ” will at that time be taken out of the way by their Rapture when Jesus first comes “in the air” to take them from planet earth to dwell and rule “eternal in the heavens” which today are unclean since Lucifer’s fall. (Job. 15:15, 2Cor. 5:1b, 1Thes 4:13-18, 1Cor 15:51-55).

Paul here describes the ‘catching away’ or Rapture of “the body of Christ” and the comfort it should bring believers in the light of the soon coming 7-year terrible Tribulation period. This will precede the 7-year Tribulation period.

¹³ But I [Paul] would not have you [the believers] to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep [physically dead], that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. ¹⁴ For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep [are dead] in Jesus will God bring with him.

¹⁵ For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent [precede] them which are asleep. ¹⁶ For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: ¹⁷ Then we which are alive and remain shall be ‘caught up’ together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. ¹⁸ Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (KJV)

The Devil will then reveal his team and proceed to thrust his well calculated campaign of spiritual deception upon unsuspecting humanity. Many so-called ‘religious people’ left on earth after the Rapture who look for miracle, will see his miracles, his Mary apparitions, and other “lying wonders” and they will easily be deceived. Recall how that Satan appears as an “angel of light.”

“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14 (KJV)

“Even him [Antichrist], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders”, 2 Thessalonians 2:9 (KJV)

Satan’s strategy specifically involves these elements that will deceive and enslave the world under his merciless Tyranny. The world at that time will include;

1. A Counterfeit religion, an ecclesiastical or religious “Mystery, Babylon the Great” (Rev. 17).
2. A Counterfeit Gospel based upon “works” of worshiping the Antichrist and taking his “mark” for survival, rather than ‘faith in Jesus Christ’ alone as Savior (Rev. 13:15-17).
3. Counterfeit Truth, which Paul calls “A Lie” in 2Thes. 2:11, which is of the Devil as the “father of lies” (John 8:44).
4. A Counterfeit Trinity as seen here. “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon [Satan], and out of the mouth of the beast [Antichrist], and out of the mouth of the false [lying] prophet.” (Rev. 16:13).

These three have these roles in the Tribulation period;

1. The False Prophet, as the ‘unholy spirit’ (Rev. 13:11-16)
2. The Antichrist, as the false messiah (Rev. 6:1-2, 2Thes. 2:3-4)
3. Satan himself as the false god (2Thes. 2:9)

5. A Counterfeit ‘cashless economy’ which will be an important aspect of Antichrist’s worldwide enslavement under which nobody will be permitted to ‘buy or sell.’ Lacking his “mark” on their right hand or their forehead. This may be a visible mark or more likely an electronic “mark” of the Antichrist’s system for commerce, and to identify and track his adherents.

Satan has prepared this double fraud to be force upon all humankind, unless they die resisting.

• The first involves the “Scarlet Harlot Religion,” the “Whore of Babylon” (Rev. 17:5)
• The second involves the “Scarlet Beast,” representing the Antichrist.

³ So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a SCARLET COLOURED BEAST [Antichrist], full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. ⁴ And the WOMAN WAS ARRAYED IN PURPLE and SCARLET COLOUR, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication [spiritual idolatries]: ⁵ And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. (Revelation 17:3-5 (KJV)

These two sinister Scarlet characters are fittingly adorned in Scarlet, a brilliant red hue, which the Bible tells us is the color of SIN.

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow [if you trust the Lord]; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Isaiah 1:18)

Notice in Rev. 17:3 that the “Scarlet Harlot” sits UPON the “Scarlet Beast.” This then pictures the ‘Scarlet Harlot’ religious leader initially in the superior position while the Antichrist temporarily plays the supportive role… until … he is established with her effort and support.

Rev. 17:7 says the Antichrist “carries” the harlot during the short time of her tenure which, as we will see, ends Mid-Tribulation, over a period of perhaps, 5 years from the Rapture to the middle of the Tribulation period. This Harlot leader is in a respected religious position in the eyes of the world, thus adding apparent credibility to his words in support of the Antichrist as being a great leader for ‘The One World Government,’ which they together work to build.

⁷ And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of ‘the beast [Antichrist]’ that ‘carrieth her [the Harlot],’ which hath the seven heads and ten horns. (Revelation 17:7 (KJV)

The unholy alliance of the Scarlet Harlot and the Scarlet Beast is to be relatively short lived because ultimately, not too long. Mid-Tribulation, the “Ten Horns” [Ten Kings) of will make her “desolate” and destroying the Scarlet Harlot in an hour (Rev. 17:16-17, 18:17), then submitting their power, authority, and their ten regions of the world directly to the Antichrist’s world rule.

¹⁰ Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. (Revelation 18:10 (KJV)
