Having the foregoing understanding, let’s now look at the details of;

• the Original Creation,
• the Pre-Adamic Judgement,
• God’s Re-creation … as related to ‘the conflict of the ages.’

The Original Creation, Pre-Adamic Judgement, and Recreation:

In the beginning [of creation] God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1

This is the original creation of the dateless, timeless, eternity past. This “beginning” is after what is referred to here; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1, when there was only God and the heavenly Host... apart from the creation.

The Original Earth Was “Formed to Be Inhabited” and the Angels Rejoiced

¹⁸ For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. Isaiah 45:18.

The angels “shouted for joy” at the wonder of His creation Job 38:7.

Lucifer Was Originally Set Over the Earth… BUT Lucifer’s Rebellion (read Isaiah 14:12-15) and Fall Resulted in God’s Judgment Upon Lucifer and his angels, and the Original Earth that Lucifer Had Corrupted, long before Adam was created). This judgement is what the Hebrew refers as the “Katabole.”

Verse 2 describes the result of God’s judgement upon the earth in the timeless past, before Adam.

¹ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. ² And the earth was [became] without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved [brooded as a hen would to produce life] upon the face of the waters. Gen. 1:1-2

Verse 2 Amplified: The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters. Gen. 1:2 AMP

The ‘Original Earth’ Had Been Flooded and Perished in the Dateless Past (This is Not Noah’s Flood in which Not all perished)

⁵ For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth [was] standing OUT of the water and IN the water [like today]:

 ⁶ Whereby the World That Then Was, Being Overflowed With Water, PERISHED: 2 Peter 3:5-6 (KJV)

The Result of God’s 1^st Flood Judgment Upon the Earth:

²³ I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had No Light. ²⁴ I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. ²⁵ I beheld, and, lo, There Was No *Man, and All the Birds of The Heavens Were Fled. ²⁶ I beheld, and, lo, The Fruitful Place Was A Wilderness, And All The Cities Thereof Were Broken Down At The Presence of The LORD, and By His Fierce Anger. ²⁷ For thus hath the LORD said, The Whole Land Shall Be Desolate; yet will I not make a full end. ²⁸ For this shall the earth mourn, and the Heavens Above Be Black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it. Jeremiah 4:23-28 (KJV)

* “Man” in verse 25 above refers to early creatures on the pre-Adamic earth, who were destroyed in the ‘katabole,’ the overthrow of the world of that day. These were not men as we know them made “in the image of God.” With the destruction of their bodies the spirits of these creatures likely became the ‘disembodied spirits’ that we call ‘demons,’ such as Jesus “cast out” of the mad “Gadarene” in the Gospel account. These demon spirits seek to dwell again in flesh so much that when Jesus cast them out, they went into the pigs and ran to the ocean.

An Original ‘Order of Government’ in “the Heaven,” as Created by Christ and for Christ

⁶ It is he [The Lord] that buildeth his Stories In The Heaven [an order of rank and authority in “the heavenly places”], and hath founded His [God Ordained] Troop In The Earth;[it was] he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name. Amos 9:6

Before and even After the fall of Lucifer, he and his angelic host still have charge over the earth as rulers, but only as permitted by God. As the earth’s ruler seated in “the heavenly places” (the 2^nd heaven) he is the ruler of the earth.

Some ask “Why Satan?” Satan is necessary to provide the negative in the world. Hence, Satan is referred to as; “The Prince of the (angelic) power(s) of the air” (Eph. 2:2), and “the God of this world” (age) (2Cor 4:4) He in his evil way is needed to provide the negative we see in the world. All the negative we encounter in this fallen world is intended by God to push us to find Christ as Savior and receive His overcoming eternal life.
