Roman Catholic Church Repudiates THE Core Truth

The Roman Catholic Church neglects and opposes the One Critical Doctrine for Salvation of one’s soul during today’s age of “the gospel of the grace of God,” which is … “Faith” in the one critical saving doctrine of “justification by Faith Alone” in the All-Sufficient work and effectiveness of ‘the Cross of Jesus Christ.’

Our faith must be ‘in the One who merits the forgiveness of ALL of our sins, past, present, and future.

The Roman Catholic Church does hold to four truths of Christians faith, which while true, cannot in themselves save and justify anyone before God. These four are;

  • The Deity of Jesus Christ
  • The Triune God
  • The Virgin Birth
  • The bodily death, resurrection, and expected return of Jesus Christ to earth.

Faith in these four doctrines listed will NOT save anyone.

We must place our faith in the “One whose Cross-death reconciles us to God, and paid for our sins as the full expiatory sacrifice for all sin and who took all our sins away “as far as the east is from the west.”

In this way of faith in the Cross of Christ we will never have to face our sins ever again and we will never see the angry face of God. Thus, the lie of Rome’s ‘Purgatory’ is negated as a religious lie.

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12 (KJV)

You can go ‘east’ forever and never run into ‘west,’ but you can go ‘north’ and you will run into ‘south.’

Adding to its devastating great errors, the Roman Catholic Church leavens (corrupts) the truth of God by adding hundreds of manmade traditions, ritual, rites and false teachings drawn from Paganism… all of which oppose the All-Sufficiency of Christ’s Cross, as seen in the Pauline doctrine that says a man is ‘Justified by Faith Alone.’

Yet, the Roman Catholic Church places immense and impossible performance standards upon their supplicants as ‘works that can never save a soul.

In Christian theology ‘justification’ is God’s act of removing all the guilt and all the penalty of sin while at the same time declaring a believing sinner to be righteous through Christ’s atoning sacrifice of the Cross. Christ’s own Righteousness is thus viewed as being credited to the believing sinner’s sin-debt account through faith alone…  totally Without Works performed by the supplicant as seen in the verses below.

5 NOT by Works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Titus 3:5 (KJV)

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

6 And if [salvation is] by grace, then is it No More of Works: otherwise grace is no more grace… Romans 11:6a

1 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found? 2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it [his Faith Alone] was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that Worketh Not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his Faith is Counted for Righteousness. 6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness Without Works, 7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute [count his] sin. Rom. 4:1-8

Sadly, today many protestant churches have fallen away from the truth of God’s grace for today by similarly adding other works requirements to “the grace of God” for salvation or to be kept securely saved. Yet Paul wrote of the believer’s eternal salvation in that each one has been “sealed [securely] with the Holy Spirit.”

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also After That Ye Believed, Ye Were Sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13 (KJV)
