Those ‘Little Foxes’ Still Loose in the Church Today

This is a 4 Part Study Series written by Arthur J. Licursi

“Take [away for] us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.” (Song of Songs 2:15 (KJV)

Who or what are these foxes the Shulamite maiden refers to as the little foxes, that spoil the vines”?

Metaphorically the Shulamite maiden in Song of Songs represents Israel, for Israel is “the bride of Christ” (read Hosea). Yet, the Shulamite metaphor could also apply to all who are believers of all ages; and her Beloved is the Lord.

We will examine these little foxes and their damaging impact upon the believers rest and peace.
