I our last study, we noted Paul's declaration at his trial late in the Book of Acts. There, he still refers to the hope of the "twelve tribes." In the last chapter of the book, he refers to the hope of "Israel."

And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made by God to our [Israel’s] fathers.  - Acts 26:6 

The souls of men hang in the eternal balance, thus, it’s important to give a clear presentation of “the gospel.” It’s amazing how the Holy Spirit sorts through the maze of confusion regarding the various plans of salvation that have been developed and fostered by ‘man’s religion’ over the years. Many Christians say, ‘I follow the whole Bible’!  Really?

It should become immediately apparent to any real student of Scripture that it’s impossible to follow, live by, and keep the instructions found in the entire Bible. This is because it is impossible to keep two different and conflicting sets of instructions.

A dispensation is a period of time in human history expressed in terms of divine revelation.  The inerrancy of the Word of God is the source for looking at history from the divine viewpoint.  Therefore, dispensation is a technical theological term used four times by the Apostle Paul in the presentation of "the mystery" doctrine of this Church Age.
