Part 2 - Paul's "Gospel of the Grace of God"
Now we will look at what God through Paul tells us Gentiles.
Now we will look at what God through Paul tells us Gentiles.
In the various accounts of our Lord’s earthly ministry we find three occasions when He declined to answer those who appealed to Him or questioned Him.
When the Bible speaks of "the nations" its simply speaking of all people, except the Nation Israel. All other people are of "the nations," which we and the Bible itself refers to as "the Gentiles."
Not Matthew, Mark, or Luke; nor Peter, James, or John, but Paul alone wrote this and made this claim in Romans 11:13 by divine inspiration:
What exactly does it mean for one to be "born 'again"? The word "again" has a specific meaning.
Since words mean something, it is obvious that only one who has been born of God's doing a 'first time' can be 'born again.'
You will recall that Abraham and his wife Sarah, who was "dead in here womb" miraculously had a son who was promised by the Lord and through the Lord's intervention. She conceived and bore a "son of promise," Isaac.
The Apostle Paul tells us in Galatians how he traveled to meet with the Messianic Jerusalem Pentecostal Church leaders so me 14 years after his first and only other visit. Below Paul refers to his meeting in Jerusalem when he told the apostles and elders there about the unique new gospel that he had received directly from the ascended Lord Jesus (Gal 1:12).
Now, as we continue our search for “hope for the Gentiles,” we come to the very last book of the Bible the Book of Revelation.
AT LAST, WE NOW FIND SOME HOPE FOR THE GENTILES in Rev 6 and 7.
BUT WAIT, look at what it takes for Gentiles to be saved.
This Scripture is describing the Tribulation period, where “a third part” of all mankind will die (Rev 9:18). All” means even a third part of believing Israel will die. Only a remnant will be saved to live on, into the Millennium.
Ephesians 3:1-5 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: 3 How that BY REVELATION HE (Christ) MADE KNOWN UNTO ME (Paul) THE MYSTERY; (as I wrote afore in few words, 4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) 5 Which in other ages was NOT made known unto the sons of men
