As I was doing my daily walk this morning in the dark, I was impressed to write this addressing the question of; Are We STILL ‘Sinners’?
It is important for us to study “the Word of truth” comparing Scripture with Scripture to determine what applies to us and what does not apply to us during this age of the “dispensation of the grace of God,” so as to arrive at the truth.
Believers need to know, understand and appreciate that the salvation they enjoy has to do with these Biblical terms that develop in this order.
God created man in His own “image,” as a vessel well suited to receive and be in union with God.
But, Adam & Eve were tempted of the lie of the Devil to “Sin” in disobedience…

All these blessings of Paul's grace gospel are recieved only by grace though faith alone in the shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
If the Bible makes anything clear, it is the fact that the secret of all God’s good news gospel to men is centered in Calvary’s Cross. It was because Christ was to die for sin that God could proclaim good news to sinners down through the ages.
It was not until some time after the crucifixion, however, that “the preaching of the cross” was widely proclaimed as a message by Paul in “the gospel [good news] of the grace of God” (ICor.1:18; Acts 20:24).
The fruits of our Lord’s resurrection from the dead are many and important.
First, there were immediate results. It silenced those who had ridiculed His claims, and struck terror into their hearts. It explained how the prophecies would be fulfilled which predicted the death of Christ and the kingdom glory to follow. It heartened His followers, making cowards bold, turning their fear into faith, their sorrow into joy and their despair into glorious victory.
Then there were also long range results, for our Lord’s resurrection is a warning to unbelievers:
Faith is one of the most precious treasures any person can possibly possess. It is a shame that so few understand what the Bible teaches about faith.
Faith is often confused with presumption, optimism, determination, superstition and imagination. Actually it is simply believing. This is why we read in Rom. 4:5:
“But to him that worketh not, but (rather) believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”
