Jesus had already deposited His Spirit into the members of His “little flock,” those who will inherit the Kingdom on earth (Luke 12:32) as seen here in John 20:22, “And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:”

 In this fourth point we see that the faithful of the “body of Christ” will ultimately be fully “Reconciled” to “the heavenly places” soon after at the Rapture… to then ‘co-reign with Christ’ in “the heavenly places.” Thus, we will replace Satan’s fallen, corrupted, heavenly host in those offices of rank and authority over “the heaven and the earth.”

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” Ephesians 6:10 (KJV)

Every Christian knows by their own daily experience that the Lord does not take possession of believers and cause them to live lives pleasing to Him. Many would wish God would make them live righteously. The truth is that we have a part in this.

The Power Of The Gospel Of Grace

How wonderful to see “the gospel of the grace of God” (Act 20:24) do its work!

Paul had never even seen the Colossians. He had only sent missionaries to them from Ephesus with the good news of the grace of God, but this gospel of grace had produced amazing results.

As we know, Paul wrought mighty miracles, as Peter and the Pentecostal believers had done. In fact, a comparison of Paul's miracles with those of Peter shows Paul's to have been the mightier. This was mainly in divine confirmation of his apostleship, since Paul was not one of "the twelve" (2 Cor. 12:11-12).

Man's first moral choice was made by Adam and Eve through deception. It was not initiated on Adam or Eve's part; whereas Lucifer's choice to rebel against God was purely willful, saying "I will be like the most High" (Isaiah 14:13-14).
