Antichrist’s Confirmation of the Covenant and ‘The Mark, Name, and Number of the Beast’
The account seen in the Daniel 9:27 below, includes how that ‘the confirming of a covenant’ by the Antichrist will mark the very beginning of the 7-year Tribulation Period.
“And he [the Antichrist] shall Confirm The Covenant with many for one week [7 years]: and in the midst of the week [at 3-1/2 years] he [the Antichrist] shall cause the [Temple] sacrifice and the oblation [offerings] to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate [end the Temple service], even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” (Daniel 9:27 (KJV)
The 7-year Tribulation Period is also called “the time of Jacobs [Israel’s] Trouble,” this referring to Israel in the time of the wrath of God’s judgments upon the earth and those who dwell in it. Antichrist will at that time sign to “confirm the covenant ‘with many’ for one week [7 years].” I expect that the “with many” will include Israel and Israel’s immediate surrounding enemy Arab nations. The covenant will supposedly ‘guarantee’ peace. But Israel will soon after realize they had made a pact with the devil as seen in these verses.
“… [Israel] hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people [of Israel] which is in Jerusalem. 15 Because ye [Israel] have said, We Have Made A Covenant With Death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for We Have Made Lies Our Refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:” (Isaiah 28:14-15 (KJV)
The sequence of the end-time events to come beginning with today.
Specifically, today we see how that President Trump of the United States of America recently began accomplishing what was formerly unachievable – these are agreements between Israel and several of her Arab/Muslim enemy neighbors. Without him knowing it, President Trumps achievement actually mark the ‘setting of the stage’ for the Antichrist to enter the world scene as a supposed miracle working statesman. The Antichrist (in point 6 below) will further develop and “confirm the covenant” that President Trump initiated; then “in the midst of the week.”
But, at 3-1/2 years (as seen in Point 7 below) he will make havoc as the greatest Anti-Semite of all times. He, Antichrist, will there “exalteth himself above all that is called God,” and an image of Antichrist that ‘can speak’ will be set up in the 3rd Jerusalem Temple.
- I expect that with the U.S. President Trump now out of the way, and a weak democrat administration in charge of US foreign affairs, the Arab nations surrounding Israel will soon step up and attack Israel in a coordinated effort to annihilate the State of Israel in what appears to be the coming ‘Psalm 83 War.’
- But, Israel’s IDF will soundly defeat the Psalm 83 Arab alliance, “they [Israel] will consume on the right hand and on the left all the surrounding peoples” (Zechariah 12:6).
- Upon such victory, Israel will then dwell in security and prosperity (Ezekiel 38:11).
- But then a newly formed Russian coalition consisting mainly of Muslim nations will invade Israel to plunder the nation and gain Russia a seaport on the Mediterranean (Ezekiel 38:1-17).
- Yet again, the Russian coalition will be destroyed, this time supernaturally by God (Ezekiel 38:18-23 & 39:1-8).
- The Antichrist will then arise and intervene to “confirm the covenant” of Daniel 9:27 and guarantee the security of Israel, enabling the Jews to rebuild their Temple (Daniel 9:27). Antichrist will gain stature in the eyes of the world.
- But, at the end of the first three and a half years, the Antichrist will enter the rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem and declare himself to be God (Dan. 9:27, Matt. 24:15-18, & 2 Thess. 2:3-4). “[Antichrist] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” (2 Thessalonians 2:4)
“14And [the False Prophet] deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast [Antichrist]; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should Make An Image To The Beast [Antichrist], which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had Power To Give Life Unto The Image Of The Beast [Antichrist], that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image (v14 above) of the beast to be killed.” (Revelation 13:14-15 (KJV)
Read the above verses once again noting how this quickly leads to a requirement in “the midst of the week (at 3-1/2 years),” whereby ‘the False Prophet’ will require all men to ‘worship of the Beast [Antichrist]’ - by worshiping the seemingly living / speaking ‘IMAGE’ of Antichrist or BE KILLED.
This is soon accompanied by another requirement – which is to take “THE MARK OF THE BEAST” in order to be able to ‘buy and sell’:
“16And he [the False Prophet] causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And That No Man Might Buy Or Sell, save [unless] he that had THE MARK, or THE NAME OF THE BEAST, or THE NUMBER OF HIS NAME.” (Revelation 13:14-17 (KJV)
What does it mean “that no man might buy or sell, save [unless] he that had the Mark, OR the Name of the beast, OR the Number of his name.”?
By use of the word ‘or’ twice in this verse it appears that these three aspects; “the Mark, OR the Name of the beast, OR the Number of his name are essentially wrapped as one and the same. The main thing is those who take the mark, or the name, or the number of His name are those who will Belong To the ‘Antichrist Global Economic System.’
Of course, today we see the push for a one world global ‘Great Reset’ of the world’s economy as promoted by the ‘World Economic Forum’ and the major Wall Street firms.
The “number of His name” (v 17) is coming into view already as we note how that in today’s digital currency and economy. We all have had ‘numbers of identification’ for so many aspects of life; our driver’s license, social security, and credit cards. When you type in your credit card number online the digits of ‘number’ by itself identifies the name of the particular credit card that is about to be used. Scripture specifically says this “number of his name” will be required for buying and selling. It’s quite likely that it is a number, however long, that will at least include “the number of his name” that Scripture tells us is “666,” So, it is obvious that we are already at the brink of the most “perilous times.”
We all know that our typical credit cards begins with one to four digits that are the same on most every credit holder’s credit card of … that particular NAMED credit card company. Example: VISA credit cards often begin with ‘4400,’ Discover Cards begin with ‘6011,’ MasterCard begin with a ‘2.’ So, it is easy to see how there could be a ‘Luciferian Global Economic System’ ID Number that includes ‘666.’ It can be detected and read digitally from your hand’s skin, or even in your blood via a vaccine. It could have the Name ‘Luciferian global economic system’ e.g., You might have the ‘Lucifer Card’ that will include the 3-digit Number ‘666, no matter how many numbers in all, in order to Identify Those Who Belong to Antichrist’s Global Economic System.
Thus. it is not hard to visualize what is coming to all the nations and people of the world in the latter half of the Tribulation period unless; 1) they be the slain martyrs for Christ in that day, or 2) they be those of Israel remnant of believers who will escape fleeing being preserved by God in Edom (i.e., Jordan’s ‘Petra’) as the Scripture tells us. “Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains; let him who is on the housetop not go down to get the things out that are in his house; and let him who is in the field not turn back to get his cloak. But woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babes in those days! But pray that your flight may not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath;” (Matthew 24:16-20)
- In view of the mid-tribulation development of the Antichrist as the Evil One, the Jews will reject the Antichrist, and he finally will respond with an attempt to annihilate them, actually killing two-thirds of them in the process (Rev. 12:13-17 & Zech. 13:8-9). Obviously, as seen below, the Jews will have realized they had made a pact with the Devil, “a covenant with death.” “Because ye [Israel] have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for We Have Made Lies Our Refuge, And Under Falsehood Have We Hid Ourselves:” (Isaiah 28:15 (KJV)
- At the end of the terrible 7-year Tribulation judgments, when the Jews have come to the end of themselves, they will turn to God and receive Yeshua as their Messiah. They will “they will look on Me whom they have pierced” (Zech. 12:10, Rom. 9:27-28, & Rom. 11:25-27).
- Jesus will return and regather all the believing Jews to Israel (Deuteronomy 30:1-9).
- As promised, the Nation Israel will be established as the prime Nation in the world (Isaiah 2:1-4 & Micah 4:1-7).
- The Lord will bless the Jewish remnant by fulfilling all the promises He has made to Israel (Isaiah 60:1-62:7).
- The blessings of God will flow out to all the nations (Gentiles) on earth through the Jewish people during the Millennial Kingdom rule of Jesus on earth (Zechariah 8:22-23).

Thus, all that we see happening in the world today and in President Trump gaining these unexpected agreements between Israel and her Arab neighbors is significant in readying The World-System for The One-World Leader of a Global Government On Earth, THE ANTICHRIST. He will appear and take his place in these Biblical “last days” of this age wherein God’s long-delayed “WRATH” will be poured out on every unbeliever who has refused to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
Thankfully, we the believing members of “the body of Christ” will have already been Raptured to heaven, since as Paul writes ‘we are not appointed to [God’s] wrath.’
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,” (1 Thessalonians 5:9 (KJV)
Knowing all this, for we who believe… this is a tremendous time to be yet alive, perhaps we will be alive at the end of the age of today’s age of “dispensation of the grace of God.” We know that the end-time period of “the last days” will be preceded by our Rapture to heaven as the members of the genuine church, which is not a religious organization of man but rather the invisible, incorporeal, intangible, “the body of Christ” – for we are destined to dwell in and co-rein with Christ “eternal in the heavens” (2Cor. 5:1b, 2Tim. 2:12).
“For our conversation [the believer’s citizenship] is in heaven; from whence also WE LOOK for the SAVIOUR, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST: 21 Who shall change our vile [sinful] body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.” (Philippians 3:20-21)
“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle [this body in which we dwell] were dissolved, we have a [new body] building of God, an house not made with hands, ETERNAL IN THE HEAVENS.” (2 Corinthians 5:1 (KJV)
